General description

Adiponectin is a key adipokine secreted by adipose tissue that plays a central role in regulating glucose levels and fatty acid breakdown. It enhances insulin sensitivity, exhibits anti-inflammatory properties, and is inversely correlated with obesity and metabolic syndrome. Measuring adiponectin levels in mouse models provides valuable insights into metabolic health, insulin resistance, and the efficacy of therapeutic interventions targeting adipose tissue function.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Analyze adiponectin in mouse serum or plasma samples.

Analyte included: Adiponectin

Assay Characteristics: Refer to assay protocol for details on cross-reactivity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy.

Features and Benefits

Features:

  • Singleplex assay targeting adiponectin, a key metabolic biomarker
  • High specificity and sensitivity for mouse adiponectin detection
  • Compatible with serum, plasma, and tissue culture supernatant samples
  • Ideal for metabolic, obesity, and insulin resistance research
  • Streamlined format for focused analysis of adipose tissue function
Benefits:

  • Enables precise quantification of adiponectin in preclinical mouse models
