General description

Kidney injury can result from drug toxicity, metabolic disorders, or systemic disease. Traditional markers like BUN and creatinine are often insensitive and non-specific. This panel—Clusterin, Cystatin C, EGF, NGAL/Lipocalin-2, and Osteopontin (OPN)—captures key indicators of renal damage, inflammation, and tissue remodeling. The MILLIPLEX® Mouse Kidney Injury Panel 2 enables multiplexed quantification of these biomarkers in mouse urine, serum, or plasma, supporting research in nephrotoxicity, renal disease, and therapeutic development.

Application

MILLIPLEX® Qualified assays undergo rigorous assay development, verification, and Quality Control testing to achieve optimal performance. Simultaneously analyze kidney injury-related biomarkers in mouse urine, serum, or plasma samples.

Analytes Included: Clusterin, Cystatin C, EGF, NGAL/Lipocalin-2, Osteopontin (OPN) EGF has not been analytically validated in serum/plasma samples and can only be run with urine samples

Assay Characteristics: Refer to assay protocol for details on cross-reactivity, sensitivity, precision, and accuracy.
