General description
This vent filter is designed to protect purified water stored in 30/60/100 liter PE storage tanks from airborne contaminants. It is used when the reservoir is fed with RiOs™ reverse osmosis (RO, Type 3) product water.
A vent filter acts by filtering the air that enters the water reservoir. As the reservoir is emptied of water, the air entering the system passes through the filter.
The filter¢s cartridge is constructed from polypropylene, polyethersulfone (PES) and styrene-acrylonitrile (SAN), and it is carefully assembled following a dichloromethane (DCM)-free process.
This vent filter is replaced twice a year for optimal results.
