General description

Triethylammonium bicarbonate buffer is a commonly used chromatographic eluent, volatile buffer, mobile phase and ion-pairing agent for the purification of nucleic acids and biomolecules.

Application

Buffer for use in ion-exchange chromatography and electrophoresis.
Triethylammonium bicarbonate (TEAB) buffer may be used for studying proteins or noncovalent protein macromolecular complexes under “nondenaturing” conditions by electrospray ionization.

Legal Information

LiChropur is a trademark of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany
