General description
Pyriproxifen is an insect growth regulator or pesticide, which can be used to control insects at a narrow scale. Its mode of action involves the inhibition of the process of metamorphosis of immature scale.
Application
Pyriproxifen may be used as an analytical reference standard for the determination of the analyte in gaseous and particulate phases in the atmosphere, oranges, globe artichoke leaves and fruits, water and wastewater, and different classes of food and feed by various analytical techniques.
