Application
1-Octadecene may be used as a high boiling solvent in the preparation of highly monodispersed silver nanoparticles using silver dodecanoate and dodecanoic acid.
1-Octadecene may be used as a solvent for the synthesis of Co-ferrite nanoparticles (NPs), which involves the decomposition of a reaction mixture containing metal acetylacetonates, hexadecanediol as reducing agent and oleic acid as a surfactant to yield mixed-metal oleate complex, confirmed by fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy.
Refer to the product′s Certificate of Analysis for more information on a suitable instrument technique. Contact Technical Service for further support.
