General description

Sodium acetate, the sodium saltof acetic acid, is a white crystalline solid that is highly soluble in water.It is widely used as a buffering agent to maintain a stable pH in variouschemical and biological applications. Additionally, it serves as a base catalystin organic synthesis, facilitating reactions such as the oxidation of nitroalkanes and the preparation of advanced intermediates.
