General description

Hydrogen peroxide is an reactive oxygen species formed as by-product of normal aerobic metabolism and increases under stress conditions. Fluorometric method for the ultra-trace quantitation of hydrogen peroxide in the range of 10-11mole/ml has been described. Hydrogen peroxide is formed as terminal product of the hydroperoxy radical in photochemical reactions. It plays role of an oxidant in heterogeneous processes. Trace level determination of hydrogen peroxide using the oxo[5,10,15,20- tetra(4-pyridyl)porphyrinato]titanium( IV) complex has been reported.
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of the 12 Principles of Green Chemistry. This product has been enhanced for catalysis. Click here for more information.

Application

Hydrogen peroxide solution may be used for the epoxidation of lower olefins, catalyzed by titanium silicalite (TS-1).
