Application

Primarily used as an antibacterial agent. Dihydrofolate reductase inhibitor with selectivity for the prokaryote enzyme.
Trimethoprim BP Reference standard, intended for use in laboratory tests only as specifically prescribed in the British Pharmacopoeia.
