General description

Primidone is a commonly used antiepileptic and anticonvulsant drug belonging to the class of barbiturates. It is found to be effective in the treatment of partial and generalized seizures.

Application

Primidone may be used as a reference standard for the determination of the analyte in serum samples using high-pressure liquid chromatography.
