General description

Tergitol solution is a surface-active agent that acts as a non-ionic surfactant.

Application

Tergitol solution has been used in a study to quantify the volumetric mass transfer coefficient and liquid film coefficient using a dynamic surface tension measurement. It has also been used in a study to investigate the use of surfactant solutions and colloidal gas aphron to remove naphthalene from a contaminated soil matrix.

Other Notes

Nonylphenol ethoxylate; nonionic surfactant
