General description

SDS (sodium dodecyl sulfate) is a wetting agent and an anionic detergent which functions efficiently in both alkaline and acidic solutions. It is generally used for the solubilization of lipids and proteins. It also functions as a potent protein denaturant. SDS, volume-wise, is one of the most commonly used synthetic surfactants.
We are committed to bringing you Greener Alternative Products, which adhere to one or more of The 12 Principles of Greener Chemistry. This product is used as a surfactant to enhance catalysis.  Click here for more information.
