General description

Preassembled closure and septa designed to provide a positive physical lock to assure that components arrive intact.

Application

PTFE-silicone-PTFE screw cap may be used for capping samples contained in a micro-insert vial, to be loaded on to GC/MS for biochemical lipid determination, of fat mass in Caenorhabditis Elegans.
Screw cap may be used for capping water samples in amber glass vial comprising of a polytetrafluoroethylene silicon septum for the analysis of chlorinated volatile organic compounds in water samples using headspace-solid-phase microextraction with gas chromatography (HS-SPME-GC).
