General description
Vial septa are available in a variety of materials and the septa are selected based on the chemical properties of the sample and the temperature to which the vial will be subjected during the analysis. PTFE/Silicone is used with most organic solvents. PTFE/Silicone is not for use with chlorosilanes. It has good resealability and can withstand a temperature of 250°C.
