Environmental
Warfarin is a rarely used anticoagulant rodenticide. As per regulation EC No 1107/2009 it is not approved for use as a plant protection product in the European Union (EU). Maximum residue levels (MRLs) have been set according to Reg. (EU) No 703/2014 for warfarin for various products of plant and animal origin of 0.01 mg/kg. The certified reference material (CRM) is intended to be used as a calibrant for chromatography and other analytical techniques.
