General description

三异丙基硅烷(TIPS)是一种有机硅化合物，低毒、操作方便、可选择性还原各种功能基团，适于用作有机合成的还原剂。可在路易斯酸（例如，四氯化钛）的存在下，选择性还原酮和醛为对应的烷烃，环氧化物为对应醇。

Application

三异丙基硅烷可用作还原剂：

在固相肽合成过程中合成4-吡咯苯酰基肽。
在过渡金属配合物催化的酰胺与氢硅烷的反应中。
用于C-芳基糖苷选择性还原为β-芳基糖苷。
在三氟乙酸存在的情况下，促进半胱氨酸（Cys）残基中乙酰氨基甲基（Acm）、4-甲氧基苄基（Mob）和叔丁基（But）保护基团的裂解。
在过渡金属催化剂存在的情况下，将酰胺还原为相应的胺。
