Application

三甲基氯硅烷（TMSCl）可用作：

试剂，通过形成三甲基硅基醚和三甲基硅基胺保护醇基和胺基。
催化剂，用于制备抗菌剂1,3-二苯基-2-丙烯酮衍生物（查耳酮）。
捕获剂，捕获偶姻缩合反应过程中产生的阴离子。
更好的催化剂，替代有毒氯化汞，在烯丙型醇和α丙二烯型醇环丙烷化反应中活化钐（Sm）。
催化剂，催化甘油三酸酯与醇进行酯交换反应形成脂肪酸烷基酯。
试剂，和溴化锂一起将醇转化为相应溴化物。
试剂，用于Fisher糖基化。
酸催化剂来源，用于苯甲醛和Et₃SiH进行还原苄化反应。
